LeMoyne Arts Hosts 58th Annual Holiday Show

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A local art gallery gets into the Christmas spirit, showcasing ornaments and gifts made by local artists.

“We have everything from jewelry and paintings to unique adornments,” said Arielle Raff, COO of Lemoyne Arts. “There really is something for everyone.

LeMoyne Arts sells thousands of handmade gifts from over 50 local artists as part of its 58th Annual Holiday Show.

“It’s kind of magic to see how creative people are,” said customer Christine Coble.

For Coble, LeMoyne’s holiday show is a Christmas tradition. She has attended the show every year since she first moved to Tallahassee in the 1980s.

“It’s awesome,” Coble said. “I just have to come back every year.”

Every year, she buys a LeMoyne Christmas decoration.

“I actually have a special tree just to put on my Lemoyne ornaments,” Coble said. “I have so many ornaments.”

Raff says this year’s show is particularly important, as the organization recovers from the impacts of the pandemic.

“It has been a difficult year for us,” said Raff. “We even closed for a short time. So it’s really a rebirth for us to reopen our doors.

The holiday show will be open every day of the week until Christmas Eve. It’s free for LeMoyne Arts members and $ 5 for non-members.
