The weekly stand-up comedy continues as The River Comics performs two shows live from the basement stage at the Craft Brew Underground in Auburn this weekend.

The popular 6×10 show featuring six stand-up comics doing ten minutes each for your generous tips pay what you can starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 24. This week’s lineup of comics includes host Danny Jordan, creator of Portland’s Deep Thoughts Comedy Show, and five of the region’s funniest comics: Ben Roberts, Nate Bradford, newbie Debbie Burgess, local legend Nick Dufault and all the way from Rhode Island, Tony Manfredi.

Another episode of the state’s only weekly Saturday comedy show at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 25, features Chris Fritz, Ben Miller and returns to the Craft Brew Underground stage, arguably one of Maine’s funniest and most popular comedians, your goofy brother and dope dad all rolled into one, Johnny Friggin’ Ater.

Tickets for Saturday’s show are $10 and can be found at or purchased at the door. Questions should be directed to The River Comics at 207-200-5366 or [email protected]
